MRI診断結果

予想通り、L5-S1の椎間板が出っ張っているらしい。以下、Diagnostic Imaging Report。

FINDINGS: The vertebral bodies maintain normal height. Straightening of normal lordotic curvature of the spine is noted. No marrow replacing process is seen. The conus terminates normally at the L1 Level. The patient has a congenitally narrow central spinal canal.

L5-S1 level: Mild loss of disc space height and disc desiccation are present. A small to moderate sized right-sided disc protrusion is present which appears to affect the right S1 nerve root of the central spinal canal, No central spinal canal stenosis or foraminal stenosis is seen.

IMPRESSION: At L5-S1, a small to moderate sized right sided disc protrusion is present which appears to affect the right S1 nerve root. Mild loss of disc space height and disc desiccation at this level.

要約すると（たぶん）、

所見：背骨の高さは正常を保っていますが、脊椎前湾症の症候が見られます。骨髄の移植は見受けられません。患者は生まれつき脊柱冠が細いようです。

L5-S1部：若干脊椎の間隔が狭く、椎間板の換装が見受けられます。小〜中程度の右側面に向かった椎間板の突出により、S1神経根に影響していると思われます。中央脊柱管と裂孔の中央に狭窄は見られません。（意味不明）

所感：L5-S1部における小〜中程度の椎間板の突出が右側面のS1神経根に影響。椎間腔が若干狭く、該当部における椎間板の乾燥。

要するに、背骨の一番下のほうの辺りが詰まっていて、椎間板が圧迫されて、さらに乾燥している（しぼんでる？）ってことなのかな。
